What is Enchanted Place?
A thoughtfully designed space where children’s therapy and development meet imagination and play. We created Enchanted Place for therapy providers, educators, and families seeking a safe, nurturing environment — where therapists and educators can foster and expand their business without worrying about child-focused space, and parents can rest assured their children are in a setting that makes their experience whimsical and fun.
Enchanted Place is also an event space where families can host special celebrations like birthday parties, and where therapists or teachers can hold camps, networking events, or workshops.
Is Enchanted Place open for "open play"?
In general, Enchanted Place is not open for “open play” to the general public. However, children using the space for therapy and developmental activities are free to play in our space before and after their sessions — we always require adult assistance when this happens.
Occasionally we open Enchanted Place for special “open play” events where anyone can sign up and join us. Follow our Instagram @my_enchanted_place_ so you don’t miss the next one!
What age groups are the play areas designed for?
Enchanted Place areas are designed to spark curiosity, play, and growth for preschool and elementary school children aged 3 – 11 years old, with those aged 4 to 8 benefiting most from a social, motor, and imaginative play perspective.
In addition, we welcome therapy and developmental activities for children of all ages and abilities.
What services and activities are offered here?
Individual and group therapy and developmental sessions for children (hosted by external providers), educational programming, therapeutic play, workshops, and private rentals for celebrations or professional events.
Who can use a room or space in Enchanted Place?
Anyone running child-centered programs can use our space, along with the children they work with and their families. In particular, licensed children’s therapists, teachers, and tutors are welcome. This includes:
- Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Physical Therapy (PT)
- Vision Therapy (VT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC)
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Psychologists (PhD or PsyD)
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW, LMSW)
- Teachers, tutors, and other licensed/certified professionals providing children’s therapy and developmental services
The space is also available to individuals providing developmental classes for individual children or groups — tutoring, individual or group music classes, play groups focused on fostering social skills, and more. Finally, the space is available for special events to individual families and organizations: parties, summer camps, field trips, play dates, and the like.
How do I become a provider who uses the space?
To use our space, you’ll go through a registration process on our website. Just follow the “Register” prompts and we’ll guide you from there. Registration lets us collect your credentials and complete background checks before you enter the space.
Can I hire a therapist through Enchanted Place?
Enchanted Place provides the space — therapists and service providers who use our space are typically independent. However, as part of our community, we promote those who use our space and can share a list of our top trusted providers and educators.
For group activities, public sign-ups will be available for certain classes. You may also invite your own licensed professional to use our space; they would simply need to complete a standard background check in line with our space policy before booking.
How do I book a space or schedule an event?
To book a space, first Register with Enchanted Place — this lets us collect your credentials and background checks prior to entry. Follow the “Register” prompts on our website to access the registration form. Once registered, you’ll receive permission to log in to our booking platform, where you can manage bookings, manage space access for your clients, and connect with other providers.
To schedule a special event, reach out to our events team — they’ll book you and walk through every detail of your event.
